Academics
Curriculums and Programs
The ABEKA Book curriculum is used in grades K5, and through 3rd grade. The ABEKA Book curriculum is used in grades 4-8 as the foundational curriculum along with other Christian curriculums. The various curriculums offer lively academic programs giving children an enjoyable educational foundation and desire to learn more. ABeka Books have been evaluated by educators and found to be at a least one-year ahead of what is taught in the public school
Kindergarden
Lorem Kindergarden students are taught to read by using the phonics method, daily Bible stories with memory verses. Students in K5 begin learning cursive writing and other subjects include arithmetic, poetry, science, social studies and language. the kindergarten program has been lenghtened to a full day to meet the criteria of the new state laws. K5 students participate in extra curricular activities throughout the school day, such as Art, Music and Physical Education
Grades 1 through 8
Grades 1 through 8 continue to build upon the foundation set in K5. Grades 1 and 2 continue to learn phonics to read and cursive writing. All the grades study the Bible, arithmetic, language arets, history and geography, science and health.
Grades 9 through 12
Students in grades 9 - 12 use a variety of Christian curriculums each written from the Christian perspective. All of the students's core subjects and most of their electives are taught in a conventional classroom setting; the remainder of their subjects, such as health, computer, are done with an independent study program. The rossetta stone curriculum is used for foreign language study.
